Entities Overview - Standard Setup

An entity is a set of accounts applied to a single organization. An entity can be composed of one person, an unincorporated business with an owner and a few employees, a partnership, a corporation, or a non-profit organization.

Depending on the applications purchased by your company, entity-related tabs can display from either eFinancials or ePO menus.

Setting up entities is required when the global policy for Standard Setup is selected, and not available for Simplified Setup. The balance of this topic refers to Standard Setup only.
