Properties are the real estate that your business owns or manages.
Depending on the applications purchased by your company, property-related tabs can display from either eFinancials or ePO menus, or both.
Setup Details
Setting up properties is required when the global policy for Standard Setup is selected, and not available for Simplified Setup. The balance of this topic refers to Standard Setup only.
Setup Prerequisites
Calendar IDs must already be set up in eFinancials prior to adding fiscal years. Refer to Calendar Overview for more information.
Entities must already be set up and available for selection. Refer to Entities Overview for more information.
Bank accounts must already be set up and available for selection. Refer to Bank Accounts Overview for more information.
Users and groups must already be set up using options on the System menu. For more information, make the following selections from the main menu to display a System page, and then click the Help button to access the System Help file: System—Security—Groups or Users.
Optional Setup Prerequisite
Groups—both property and vendor—are selected on the Groups tab. Setting up groups is optional. They can be set up at any time because they do not affect the setup process. For more information, refer to Groups Overview.
