Setup Allocations Grid

Make the following menu selections to display this grid:

eFinancials—Setup—AP Setup—Allocations or

ePO—Setup—Allocations

Use this grid to manage accounts payable allocations.

ClosedFields

The following fields appear on the grid:

Add Allocation

Use this button to add an allocation.

Find

This field defaults to Allocation ID; however, if you click any underlined grid column title, the field label changes to reflect your selection. You can then search for entries based on the field label. For example, if you know the allocation description, click the Description column title and the find field label changes to Find Description.

Enter the first few letters or numbers to search for (or select from a drop-down list if one displays), and then select the Find button. The items that are the nearest match to your entry display in the grid below. Click column titles to sort the list further.

Go

Use the Page field and the Go Button to display additional pages when the list of entries in the grid is longer than one page.

Allocation ID

The allocation identification that appears on lists and in reports. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field. Click an identification to display the Allocation grid.

Description

The description of the allocation that appears on lists and in reports. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field.

Actions

Use the Delete icon to delete an allocation.

ClosedTo Add an Allocation

  1. Click Add Allocation. The allocation tab displays.
  2. Use the Allocation tab Fields list to complete the tab.
  3. Click Save. The setup tab displays again.

ClosedTo Edit an Allocation

  1. Click the Allocation ID for the allocation you want to edit. The allocation tab displays.
  2. Use the Allocation Tab field list to edit the tab.
  3. Click Save. The setup tab displays again.

ClosedTo Delete an Allocation Detail Line

  1. Click the Allocation ID for the allocation you want to edit.  The allocation tab displays.
  2. Click the Delete icon for the detail line you want to delete. The detail line is removed from the grid.
  3. In the Percent column, adjust the percentages of the remaining detail lines so that the total is 100%.
  4. Click Save. The setup tab displays again.

ClosedTo Delete an Allocation

  1. Click the Delete icon for the allocation you want to delete. The allocation tab displays.
  2. Click Confirm Delete. The setup tab displays again.
