Use this tab to manage documents.
Documents work the same regardless of the way you access this tab.
Prerequisite
Document Types—for the types of documents you want to add—must be set up before you can add a document using the Documents Tab.
What you can add documents to
Documents can be added to a variety of items in a variety of locations.
Documents that have been added are viewed and deleted via the Documents Tab.
Items that documents can be added (attached) to differ by module. Refer to the following lists for details.
For eFinancials, users can add documents to:
Bank Accounts
Batches
Billings via the AR Inquiry.
Budget Versions (not on the account level).
Customers
Entities/Companies/Properties
Companies via Setup Companies (Simplified Setup)
Entities/Properties via Setup Properties (Standard Setup)
Invoices via AP Inquiry.
GL Accounts available through GL Account Setup and GL Account Inquiry
Journal Entries
Payments (checks and invoices) on the Check Entry grid, Payment Inquiry, and Payment Detail Inquiry
Partnerships
Investors, Partnerships, Investor/Partnership Links
Transactions
Purchase Orders
Receipts - Receipts and Unapplied Cash
Vendors
Transactions in Partnership Accounting.Permissions are under Partnership Accounting in the System Module.

For ePO, users can add documents to:
Bank Accounts
Batches
Budget Versions
Checks - ePO users can also drill down from AP Inquiry to view checks and then add documents to checks. This means that if a document is added to a check in Check Entry, that document is then accessible in ePO from Payment Inquiry Detail.
Companies via Setup Companies (Simplified Setup)
Entities
Invoices via AP Inquiry.
Payments on the Check Entry grid, Payment Inquiry, and Payment Detail Inquiry.
Purchase Orders
Properties via Setup Properties (Standard Setup)
Vendors
For Job Cost, users can add documents to:
Batches
Jobs
Job Cost Estimates
Journal Entries
Income Estimates
For Contracts, users can add documents to:
Subcontracts
