Active

If this check box is selected, the user has access to the system. If this check box is not selected, the user will not be able to log on to the system.

If the user is currently locked out of the system (possibly due to multiple failed login attempts), this check box is selected. Clear this check box to unlock the user's User ID.

You can also use the Unlock Users feature to unlock this user.

Password never expires

Select this check box if you do not want this user's password to expire when it reaches the Maximum password age in days set on the Security tab. For example, if you want to set the maximum password age to 45 for most users, but do not want the limit to apply to a supervisor, select this check box for the supervisor's user account. Only users with the Modify Users permission can exclude individual users from the password expiration period so that their passwords will never automatically expire.
