Make the following menu selections to display this page:
System—Security—Unlock Users
Use this page to unlock users who are locked out of the system because of too many failed login attempts.
A list of User Names of users who are locked out of the system appear on the page. To unlock a User Names, select the User Name to unlock, which takes you to a page where you reset the password and then click the Unlock User button. This unlocks the user, whose password is now set to the new password. You must provide the new password to the user.
The next time the user logs in, the user is required to enter the password you provide, and then establish a new password. This new password must meet minimum requirements.
NOTE that it is possible for someone with wide-ranging permissions in the System module to unlock a password from the User Security General Tab; however, limiting some users to the Unlock Users feature is a practical alternative.
