Users Grid

Make the following menu selections to display this page:

System—Security—Users

Use this page to manage user IDs and passwords. Users may or may not be assigned to groups or roles.

ClosedFields

ClosedUsers Grid

The following links, fields, and buttons appear on the page that displays when you select the menu option System—Security—Users. Look at Tasks to Complete for use instructions.

Add User

Use this button to add a user.

Find Username

Enter a user identification in the field and select the Find button to search for that user.

Page/Go

Use this field and button and Next and Previous links to display pages when the grid includes more than one page.

Username

The user names of existing users. Click this column title to sort the list of users.

User Type

The type of user. The following types are possible: Full or Read Only. These options are system-defined.

Online

Shows an icon in the column next to each user who is signed into the system.

Delete

Use this button to delete a user. Refer to the delete instructions later in this topic.

Print

Click to print the Permission List for this user or group. For more information, refer to Permissions List Report.

ClosedTo Add Users

  1. Click Add User.
  2. Use the General Tab, Roles Tab, Edit User Permissions Tab, and Groups Tab field lists to complete the tabs.

NoteNote

Add user permissions using one of the following methods. Use the Permissions button to add permissions individually. Use the Available Roles and Selected Roles boxes to copy all permissions associated with an existing role to a new user. Refer to the Roles Tab for more information.

  1. Click Save after completing each tab.

ClosedTo Edit Users

  1. Locate and select the user you want to edit.
  2. Use the General Tab, Roles Tab, Edit User Permissions Tab, and Groups Tab field lists to edit the tabs.

NoteNote

Edit user permissions using one of the following methods. Use the Permissions button to add permissions individually. Use the Available Roles and Selected Roles boxes to copy all permissions associated with an existing role to a new user. Refer to the Roles Tab for more information.

  1. Click Save.

ClosedTo Delete Users

  1. For the user you want to delete, click the Delete icon . A confirmation message appears.
  2. Click OK.

 

Note Note

Click the Print icon to print the User Permissions List Report. The report provides a listing of the groups, permissions, and Dashboard template details provisioned for a particular user.
