Expire Passwords Tab
Make the following menu selections to display this tab:
System—Security—Expire Passwords
Users with the Expire Passwords
permission can use this tab to manually expire all passwords at any time.
This will reset the expiration period for all users.
Note
You can select to expire passwords
for all users (including
users with non-expiring passwords, based on the Passwords never expire
setting on the User Security General Tab)
or all passwords except those for users with non-expiring passwords.
Fields
Include accounts with a time-limited password
Select this check box to instantly expire passwords
for all users whose passwords are set to expire within the password expiration
period. For these users, the "Passwords
never expire" setting is not selected on the User
Security General Tab. Each user will be required to create a new password
before logging on to the system.
Include accounts with a non-expiring password
If you want to expire passwords for users for
whom the "Passwords never expire"
setting is selected on the User Security
General Tab, select the Include accounts
with a non-expiring password check box. Each user will be required
to create a new password before logging on to the system.
To Expire Passwords
- From the System menu,
select Security—Expire
Passwords.
- Select the Force password expiration for all expiring
accounts check box.
- If you also want
to expire passwords for users for whom the "Passwords
never expire" setting is selected on the User
Security General Tab, select the Include
accounts with a non-expiring password check box.
- Click Save.
