Renters Insurance Form - First American Renters Insurance

For First American Renters Insurance, you can select the Require Insurance (Move-in)? and Require Insurance (Renewal)? options for First American Renters Insurance on the Credit/Insurance Agency Account tab.

The system validates whether a unit is covered by a current insurance policy. As long as any of the named insureds on the insurance policy match any of the Occupants, the Unit is considered covered.

At move-out, a message will display to indicate that this resident has an active insurance policy and the insurance agency is to be notified of the move-out.

Agency Code

The First American Renters Insurance agency code is selected.

Insurance Information

If the resident is identified as enrolled, renters insurance information such as insurance status, type, policy number, effective and expiration dates displays on the tab. This information is also available in the Lease Profile, accessed from various locations in eSite including Lease Changes.

Otherwise, no insurance information is available on the tab and a message tells you to provide instructions to the resident to purchase a RegistryTLC Policy or to enter 3rd Party policy information.

3rd Party

The button is disabled if the system finds a policy for the resident.

If no policy is found, the 3rd Party button is enabled and you can give the resident instructions for purchasing a RegistryTLC policy or enter a third party policy into the First American Renter's Insurance system.

Click to discard changes and return to the Occupants List tab.
