First American Renters Insurance

This screen appears when you click the Insurance icon from the Insurance Occupants List, accessed from Application/Move-In or Lease Changes and then:

Select the Agency code for First American Renters Insurance.
Click the 3rd party button and then click OK. You will be redirected to the configured insurance website to process renters insurance.
Complete the page on the First American Renters Insurance website and then submit it.

For First American Renters Insurance, you can select the Require Insurance (Move-in)? and Require Insurance (Renewal)? options for First American Renters Insurance on the Credit/Insurance Agency Account tab.

The system validates whether a unit is covered by a current insurance policy. As long as any of the named insureds on the insurance policy match any of the Occupants, the Unit is considered covered.

Note

At move-out, a message will display to indicate that this resident has an active insurance policy and the insurance agency is to be notified of the move-out.
