Note
Not all fields appear in every menu item's selection grid.
Grid Fields
Multi-Property (check box)
Checked (default) - The list in the grid is filtered to the current property.
Unchecked - The list in the grid is not filtered to the current property. Other properties appear in the list also.
Show Occupants (check box)
Unchecked (default) - The list in the grid shows Leases/Occupants/Tenants, as applicable.
Checked
Residential - The list in the grid refreshes to show additional Occupants on the lease, if any. These are the Occupants that appear also in the Occupant Demographic Details grid, under the Responsible Occupant.
Commercial - The list in the grid will be empty.
Quick Filters
Enter a value (alphanumeric text) into the associated field and press the Tab key or Enter key to filter the list in the grid to show the applicable Occupants / Leases.
To refresh the grid after you change the value in the field, press the Tab key or Enter key.
Unit
Enter a value in the field to filter the list to show only units starting with the specified value. This is a quick way to do a "starts with" filter on the Unit ID. The name that displays is the name as set up under Property Policies (Property Names category).
Name
Enter a value in the field to filter the list to show only Occupants / Leases where the Last Name starts with the specified value. This is a quick way to do a "starts with" filter on the name.
When the current property is a :
Residential property, First Name and Last Name are used.
Commercial property:
- First Name is Tenant Name 2 as set up under Property Policies(Property Names category).
- Last Name is Tenant Name 1 as set up under Property Policies(Property Names category).
Tag (drop-down list) / (text box)
There are two parts to the tag Quick Filter.
1. From the drop-down list, select the tag to search on. The drop-down list contains all the valid search tags defined.
2. Into the text box, enter the value to search for. The search on the tag value is a "contains" search, as the tag data is highly variable in format.
Pressing the Tab key or Enter key in the Tag value field refreshes the grid.
Selecting a new tag to search on also refreshes the grid.
Clear Filters (button)
Click the button to clear values from all the Quick Filters and reset the grid to page 1. Clicking the button does not affect filters set up on the grid itself.
The following fields appear in the grid. You can click the column title to sort the list by that field.
Property ID
The property identification that appears in lists and on reports.
This column appears only when the Multi-Property check box is checked.
Building
The building identification that appears in lists and on reports.
This column appears only when Buildings are used.
Unit
The unit identification that appears in lists and on reports.
First Name
Residential properties - The Resident or Occupant first name that appears in lists and on reports. Sorting by First Name sorts by first name, last name, property, building, unit, etc.
Commercial properties - The Tenant Name 2, as set up under Property Policies (Property Names category), that appears in lists and on reports.
Last Name
Residential properties - The Resident or Occupant first name that appears in lists and on reports. Sorting by First Name sorts by first name, last name, property, building, unit, etc.
Commercial properties - The Tenant Name 1, as set up under Property Policies (Property Names category), that appears in lists and on reports.
Tag Value
The Tag value result. This column is shown only when a Quick Filter by Tag has been specified.
Note that if multiple search tags exist that meet the criteria then a resident/tenant/occupant may be shown multiple times in the grid.
Status
The resident status that appears in lists and on reports. For example, Current, Leased and so on. When selected, displays the Lease Changes Task Selection Tab. Click the column title to sort the list.
Balance
The Resident's / Tenant's ending balance, which does not include future charges. For occupants the balance, if shown, is the balance on the lease.
Credit Check
Click the Credit Check icon to open the Credit Check Occupants List in order to run credit screening for the application or lease.
This is only available on Lease Changes and only active for Residential property. Clicking the icon takes you directly to Occupant Demographics to allow for credit checks on the occupants

User access to run credit screening from this grid is determined by eSite user security permissions. For information about setting user permissions, refer to the System Help.
