Credit and Insurance Agencies Setup Overview

Credit and insurance agencies are used to process on-site credit reports for your applicants and provide renter's insurance for your residents.

eSite has the ability to interface with these credit screening/renters insurance agencies.

Setup Details

Setting up credit and insurance agencies is optional. Setting up credit and insurance agency accounts and linking them to a property is optional.

Both of the following setups are required in order to use the credit screening or renters insurance functions within eSite.

Use to set up each available credit screening or renters insurance agency code with an agency name. The agency codes are programmed into the system for you.

eSite—Setup—Property—Additional—Credit/Insurance Agency Accts Tab

Use to set up an account for each credit screening or renters insurance agency and link it to your property.

Set Up Sequence

If you intend to use the credit screening or renters insurance functions within eSite, you must set up the agencies first within global setup, and then set up the accounts within property setup.

Prerequisites

Prior to setting up accounts, contact each agency for which you need to add an account. Individual credit screening or renter’s insurance agencies must provide you with the information needed to complete the account setup fields.

Setting up marking sources is required if you want the marketing sources to be identified when credit checks are sent to Resident Data and/or Tenant Tracker.

Setting up packages is required if you want to use packages of custom services for tenant screening, verification, or insurance. You must contact each credit/insurance agency for the Package Codes to use during setup.
