Renter's Insurance Overview

You may—or may not—require occupants to obtain renters insurance before leasing. There is an insurance agency property setting available to require renter's insurance. Currently this is available only on the agency setup for:

ePremium

First American Renter's Insurance

Renters Insurance

To override the requirement for renters insurance, the Override Insurance Requirement user permission must be selected (System—Security—Users and then at Permissions select eSite—Leasing—Application & Movein—Override Insurance Requirement).
