Note

When adding new charges that are subject to tax, the system automatically adds the Tax line items into the New Charges grid so you can allocate security deposits against the new Tax charges; also, the new Tax charges show in SODA Merge Field blocks. If a user changes an Income Code or an amount in the New Charges grid, the system shows the new taxes as uneditable on the grid. The description for the Tax lines is the Income Code description. Taxes are assigned a Due Date that is the same as the source charge, so if Damages is due on 1/24/2013, then any associated taxes are due on 1/24/2013 as well. Note that for any tax Income Codes used in calculations, the Suppress on SODA check box cannot be checked on Setup—Property—Income Codes.

Allocations

Click to toggle the display of an allocation table used to manually key in the funds allocations for the resident's account.

Automatically Allocate
