This tab displays when Transaction Inquiry is selected from the eSite menu and then a resident's Last Name is selected from the Transaction Inquiry selection grid. Use it to view a resident's recent transactions and current balances from a specified date. Details displayed at the top of this tab are for reference only and cannot be edited.

Entries in the Resident/Long Name fields on the policy tabs affect the tab name (before the word Transaction):
Beginning Balance
The display-only resident beginning balance. The Beginning Balance is a field in the lease table that maintains what the balance was at the beginning of the current period.
Future Bill/Pay
The display-only amount of billings or payments that occurred for a future date outside of the current accounting period.
Security Interest
The display-only amount of security deposit interest the resident has accrued during the current accounting period.
Billed
The display-only amount of billings that occurred during the current accounting period.
Net Balance
The display-only sum of billings and payments that occurred during the current accounting period.
Security on Hand
The display-only amount of security deposit on hand.
Paid
The display-only amount of funds the resident has paid during the current accounting period.
Pet Interest
The display-only amount of security deposit interest the resident has accrued during the current accounting period.
Ending Balance
The display-only sum of the Billed less Paid amounts listed for the current accounting period.
Pet on Hand
The display-only amount of pet deposit on hand.
From
Enter the first date to begin showing transactions using the format mm/dd/yyyy. Or use the Calendar Button to select a date.
Go Button
Select the Go button to fill the grid with transactions that occurred from the date entered in the From field to the current system date.
From
Enter the first date to include in your inquiry. All transactions from that date to the current system date display in the transaction inquiry grid.
View/Edit
Click to display the View/Edit Transactions (Resident Details) Tab.

Date
The display-only transaction date. Click the column header to sort the list.
SC
The display-only transaction source code. Click the column header to sort the list. For help, refer to Source Codes.
Invoice
If used, this is the transaction invoice number. Click the column header to sort the list or select the invoice number to display the Resident Invoice Details Tab.
Charge
The amount charged to the resident. Click the column header to sort the list or select the charge amount to display the Invoice Transaction Inquiry Details Tab.
Paid
The amount paid by the resident. Click the column header to sort the list or select the paid amount to display the Invoice Transaction Inquiry Details Tab.
Payment
The method used to submit payment: Check, Cash, Plastic and so on.
Reference
If used, the reference number associated with the payment. For instance, if payment was submitted by check this field could list the check number. Click the column header to sort the list.
Description
A description of the payment as entered at the time the payment was entered. Click the column header to sort the list.
GL Period
The general ledger period the transaction occurred in. Click to sort the column header to sort the list.
Date of Record
The transaction date of record. Every ledger transaction is assigned a Date of Record, which is associated with an accounting period through the accounting period tables. For a transaction to post, this accounting period must be active or the log on date must fall within the grace period as defined by your global policy settings. For most transactions the Date of Record equals the transaction date. Click the column header to sort the list.
Receipt
If applicable, the receipt number associated with the transaction.
Balance
The display-only current ending balance.
Print Receipt?
Select the icon to print a receipt.
