Make the following menu selections to display this grid:
eFinancials—Setup—Partnership Setup—Partnerships
Use this grid to manage Partnerships for Partnership Accounting. Partnerships must be set up if you want to use Partnership Accounting. Refer to the Partnership Accounting Overview for more information.
Fields Lists
NOTE that a red dot indicates a required field or selection.
Column 1
Partnership ID
An identification label for the Partnership (for example, GPP for Grant Property Partnership). This ID appears on lists and in reports.
Name
Enter the Partnership name.
Lines 1, 2
Enter the street address for the Partnership using up to two lines. For example:

Suite 27
Zip / City / State
Enter the zip code, city, and state in which the address for the Partnership is located.
Country
Enter the country for the address where the Partnership is located.
Contact Title / First / MI / Last/ Suffix
Enter the name of the contact at the Partnership's place of business in the format Title, First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name, Suffix. For example:
Mr. Gregory C. Fish Sr.
Phone
Enter the phone number for the Contact, beginning with area code. This field accepts alphanumeric characters. Examples:
(813) 555-1234
813-555-1235 extension 1000
Fax
Enter the fax phone number for the Contact, beginning with area code. This field accepts alphanumeric characters. Examples:
(813) 555-1235
813-555-1235 extension 20000
Enter the email address for the Contact using a standard email format. For example, UserName@company.com.
Notes
Enter notes about the Partnership in the text box (optional).
Column 2
Entity/Company ID
Click the Lookup icon to display the Select Entity/Company pop-up and select the Entity/Company ID for the Partnership. These codes are added to the system during Entity Setup (Standard Setup) or Company Setup (Simplified Setup), as applicable.
Cash Account
Click the Lookup icon to display the Select Account pop-up and select the cash account number for the Partnership.
Equity Account
Click the Lookup icon to display the Select Account pop-up and select the equity account number for the Partnership.
Contributions Account
Click the Lookup icon to display the Select Account pop-up and select the contributions account number for the Partnership.
NOTE that Entity/Company ID, Cash Account, Equity Account, and Contribution Account are used when the Partnership Accounting Transfer to GL process is run for transactions.
Property ID (Standard Setup Only)
Click the Lookup icon to display the Select Property pop-up and select the PropertyID for the Partnership.
Bank Account
Click the Lookup icon to display the Select Account pop-up and select the bank account number for the Partnership.
Dist. Expense Code
Click the Lookup icon to display the Select Expense Code pop-up and select the distribution expense code for the Partnership.
Note that PropertyCompany ID, Bank Account, and Dist. Expense Code are used when the Partnership Accounting Create AP Invoices process is run for transactions.
