Setup Investors Grid

Make the following menu selections to display this grid:

eFinancials—Setup—Partnership Setup—Investors

Use this grid to manage Investors for Partnership Accounting. Investors must be set up if you want to use Partnership Accounting. Refer to the Partnership Accounting Overview for more information.

ClosedEffect of Permissions

Permissions must be set in the System module to access all Investors Setup activities.

Permissions for Investors

System module—Security—Users—Partnership Accounting—Partnership Setup—Investors

Investors setup has separate permissions for Add, Edit, Delete, View, and View Transactions.

Fields Lists

ClosedGrid Fields

Note

You can click a column title to sort the grid.

Or, click the Filter button in a column to filter the grid by that column.

Add Investor button

Click the button to add a new Investor.

Investor ID

The Investor identification. Click the ID link to view or edit Investor details.

Refer to the Add/Edit instructions later in this topic.

Investor Name

The name of the Investor.

Documents

One of the following icons appears in this column:

No documents are currently stored for the Investor. Click the icon to upload documents for the Investor.

At least one document is currently stored for the Investor. Rest your mouse pointer on the icon to see the number of documents stored. Click the icon to view, add, or delete documents.

Transactions Transactions Icon

An icon appears in this column. Click the icon to view transactions for this investor. The Transactions for Investor grid appears.

The information shown includes Transaction ID, Sequence Number, Partnership ID, Partnership Name, Date of the transaction, type of transaction, Description of the Transaction Type, Amount of the transaction, and Ownership Contribution Percentage. Refer to Transaction Entry for more information.

Delete

Use the Delete button to delete an Investor. Refer to the delete instructions later in this topic.

Procedures

ClosedTo Add an Investor

  1. Select Setup—Partnership Setup—Investors. The Investors page opens.
  2. Click Add Investor. The Add Investor page appears.
  3. Enter information for the Investor. Use the field list for help.
  4. Click Save.

ClosedTo Edit an Investor

  1. Select Setup—Partnership Setup—Investors. The Investors page opens.
  2. Select the ID link for the Investor you want to edit. The Edit Investor page opens.
  3. Edit information for the Investor. Use the field list for help.
  4. Click Save.

ClosedTo Delete an Investor

  1. Select Setup—Partnership Setup—Investors. The Investors page opens.
  2. Click the Delete icon for the Investor you want to delete. A confirmation message appears.
  3. Click Confirm Delete. The Investors setup page appears again.
