Using the Guest Card Reservation Board
Another unique feature eSite offers to corporate housing
users is the Reservation Board. This function is added to the standard
Guest Cards option and is a tool that quickly matches an individual inquiring
about a lease with a unit that meets their specific requirements. It can
also be used to input search criteria to perform manual searches and to
jump directly to the application and move-in tabs necessary to enter a
lease application.
Note
If you plan to search available units by report code,
then those report codes must already have been set up in the Standard
Property. For setup instruction, refer to the Report
Codes Tab for more information.
Accessing the Reservation Board
With the property type set to 4–Corporate
Housing, the Reservation Board can be accessed
from either the Leasing or Inquiry
menus.
Access from the Leasing Menu
- Follow
instructions for and complete the requested
information.
- When you click the
Save button, the system automatically displays
the Reservation Board listing all units with
a Vacant Available status that have been set
up as corporate housing units.
Access from the Inquiry Menu
- Make these selections
from the eSite menu: Inquiry, Reservation
Board. The Reservation Board
Tab displays.
Using the Reservation Board
The Reservation Board is divided into two separate
segments, the unit selection list showing the Vacant
Available units and a field list used to enter a variety of search
criteria. Units in the Corporate Housing property have a Reserve
column displayed in the selection list and when selected opens a blank
lease application. Enter an application for the corporate housing unit
to begin the lease process without having to leave the current tab. Units
without a Reserve icon are not corporate housing
units; lease applications cannot be entered for these units.
