Combine Units Tab

Make the following selections from the eSite menu to display this page:

Special—Housekeeping—Combine Units

Use this tab to select a unit and then select another unit to combine into the first unit. The second unit must be vacant. The unit number will be the number of the first unit.

NoteNote:

The user can use the Same Property Unit Renumber function to adjust the unit number as needed.

Any leases on the first unit remain as is and must be adjusted using Lease Changes. The second unit will be made inactive. This way all the history would still be available without having to be merged into the new unit.

The first unit’s square footage is defaulted to the sum of the two units being combined. Upon save and completion of the Combine Unit function, the user is taken to unit maintenance on the first unit to allow for any further adjustments needed to square footage, unit type, market rent, etc.

NoteNote:

You must use unit active/inactive dates, a property policy under Additional Options, to use the Combine Units option.
