Cross Property Resident Renumber Tab

Make the following selections from the eSite menu to display this page:

Special—Housekeeping—Renumber/Copy—Cross Property Resident Renumber

NoteNote

Selecting this option automatically switches the database to single-user mode which prevents other users from logging in until the process completes.

Use this tab to renumber the unit associated with a resident and copy all related information to a new unit at another property. As a result, no evidence remains to show that the resident was ever associated with the old unit.

This option is intended to help you correct errors. For example, if the wrong unit was entered for a resident, you can change it to the correct unit. The difference between this process and a resident transfer is that no prorate calculations are made and that all resident transaction history is moved to the new unit.

NoteNote

Resident Renumber does not apply validations based on leasing policies. For example, if the policy Multiple applications are accepted for a unit is selected, you can renumber a current resident into a unit even if a current resident is already associated with the unit, regardless of the policy.
