Deleting Temp Tables in the eSite Database

Various periodic processes and reports in eSite cause temp tables to be created. Over time, the build-up in these tables can lead to a database so large that it will drastically impact the performance of your program in a negative manner. AMSI recommends performing weekly maintenance on the Temp tables in your eSite database to prevent this kind of buildup from occurring.

To Delete Temp Tables in the eSite Database

1. Ensure that no users are logged on to eSite.
2. Logon to the AMSI AMSI Evolution Suite.
3. From the eSite menu, select Special—Utilities—Clear Temp Tables.
4. Type the Password: SSUClearTemp.
5. Click OK.
