Clearing the Letters or Output Directory

Individuals using Server Side letters will be storing Letters created through eSite in the Web/eSite/Letters directory on the Server. ASCII Import uploads, Transfer to GL Batch files, and Transfer to AP files are stored in the Web/eSite/Output directory. Over time, the number of files stored can grow tremendously in size and lead to poor program performance.

To Clear the Letters or Output Directory

Open Windows Explorer.
Locate both of the following directories:
Web/eSite/Letters directory
Web/eSite/Output directory
Delete any old files that you no longer need.

The eSite Tuneup Utility included on your program CD can be used to take care of this task.
