Databases Grid

Make the following menu selections to display this page:

System—Setup—Databases

Use this page to manage databases that are available for selection in this application. In addition, you can grant the ability to select particular databases from this list of groups and users.

ClosedFields

The following links, fields, and buttons appear on the page that displays when you select the menu option System—Setup—Databases. Look at Tasks to Complete for use instructions.

Header

Add Database

Use this button to add a database. Refer to the add instructions later in this topic.

Find Database Name

Enter a database name in the field and select the Find button to search for that database. Refer to the Find Button for more information.

Page/Go

Use this field and button and Next and Previous links to display pages when the grid includes more than one page. Refer to the Go Button for more information.

Grid

Database Name

The database names of existing databases. Click this column title to sort the list of databases.

Description

A description of each database.

Delete

Use this button to delete a database. Refer to the delete instructions later in this topic.

ClosedTo Add a Database

  1. From the System menu, select Setup—Databases.
  2. Select the Add Database button. The database tabs display.
  3. Use the General Tab and Access Tab field lists to complete the tabs.
  4. Select the Save button.

ClosedTo Edit a Database

  1. From the System menu, select Setup—Databases.
  2. Locate and select the database that you want to edit. Refer to the Find Button for more information. The database tabs display.
  3. Use the General Tab and Access Tab field lists to edit the tabs.
  4. Select the Save button after completing each tab.

ClosedTo Delete a Database

  1. From the System menu, select Setup—Databases.
  2. Locate the database that you want to delete. Refer to the Find Button for more information.
  3. Select the Delete button . The following message displays: Are you sure you want to delete this database?
  4. Select OK to delete the database. Or select Cancel to stop the deletion.
