Use this tab to add or edit a database set. A database
is a set of "database connections." You have the ability to
create a database connection for each application for which you have a
license. Once the database connection is created, the application appears
on the Menu Bar.
Note
A red asterisk ( * )
indicates a required field or selection.
General Information
Name *
Enter the name of the database set. For example,
enter Tampa Bay to add a set of databases that
contains property information for the Tampa Bay area.
Description
Enter a description of the database set. For example,
enter the description Tampa Bay property data.
Grid Buttons
New Button
Select the New button
to add a new database. Grid fields are enabled. Complete the fields using
the list below, and then select the Save button.
Edit Button
Select the Edit button
to edit a database. Grid fields are enabled. Update the fields using the
list below, and then select the Save button.
Delete
Use the Delete
button to delete a database set so that it is no longer available for
selection in this application. This button is available on the grid prior
to the selection of the Edit button.
Save Button
Select the Save button
after you finish adding or editing a database. This button displays only
after you select the Edit button or the New button.
Grid Fields
Grid fields are enabled after you select the New or Edit button.
Select
Select the name of the connection from the drop-down
list.
Application
Select the name of an application from the drop-down
list to create a database connection to this application. You must have
a license to an application in order to create a database connection.
Note
ePO does not appear in the drop-down list, as
eFinancials and ePO are licensed together. Simply create a database connection
to eFinancials.
Database *
Select the name of the database for that application
from the drop-down list.
Server Name *
Enter the server name.
User ID *
Enter a User ID for the database.
Password *
Enter the password for the database.
Confirm *
Enter the password for the database again to confirm
it.
Time out
Enter the connection time out in seconds.
