Add Physical Unit

Click to add a Physical Unit to this grid. Refer to instructions below in this topic.

Physical Unit

The Physical Unit identification that you specify for this Physical Unit.

Building

The building identification for the building that the Physical Unit is located in. Click the column heading to sort the list.

Bed Count.

The number of units in this Physical Unit. Click the column heading to sort the list.

Assigned Count

The number of units assigned to this Physical Unit. Units are assigned to a Physical Unit on the unit setup General tab. Click the column heading to sort the list.

Follow these steps  to add a new Physical Unit to eSite.

1. From the eSite menu, select Setup—Property—Physical Units..
2. From the Physical Units grid, click Add Physical Unit.
3. In the  Physical Unit field, type the identifier for the Physical Unit and then press the Tab key.
4. Click on the drop-down arrow that appears in the Building field, select the Building ID for the Physical Unit, and then press the Tab key.
5. Use the arrows that appear in the Unit Count field to select the number of Units contained in the Physical Unit and then press the Enterkey.
6. Click Save. You are returned to the grid.

Follow these steps to edit a Physical Unit in eSite.

1. From the eSite menu, select Setup—Property—Physical Units.
2. Locate the Physical Unit you want to change and then click in the field that you want to edit and make changes. You cannot change the value in the Assigned Count field.
3. Click Save. You are returned to the grid.

Follow these steps to delete a Physical Unit in eSite.

Note

You cannot delete a Physical Unit that is linked to a Unit.

1. From the eSite menu, select Setup—Property—Physical Units.
2. Locate the Physical Unit you want to delete and then click the Delete button. This removes the line from the grid but it is not permanently removed yet.
3. Select a button:
   * Click Save to permanently delete the line from the grid.
   * Click Reset to re-display the line; it is not deleted.
   
   After Save or Reset, you are returned to the grid.
