In this example, you price units higher if they have a Pool View.

• For a one bedroom apartment this is an additional $10 to the market rent.
• For a two bedroom apartment this is an additional $20 to the market rent.    

While you could set up two Amenities ("P1" for 10 and "P2" for 20), this might require you to set up and maintain many different amenity codes.

Instead, you can:

• Set up an Amenity, "PV."
• Give it a base price of $10;
• Under Amenities by Type you can set up "PV" for your two bedroom type as $20, which would override the $10 base price for a pool view for two bedroom units.

Remember, you still have set up the unit with the pool view as having a "PV" amenity, as some two bedrooms will a pool view and some will not.

Add Amenity By Type (button)

Click to assign an amenity to a unit type on the Amenity by Type Tab. The Add/Edit Amenity By Type page appears. Refer to instructions later in this topic for information on how to add or edit an Amenity By Type.

Unit Type

The identification code for the unit type.

Amenity Code

The identification code for the amenity. Click the link to open the Edit Amenity Code By Type page to view or make changes to the Amenity Code By Type.

Price

The cost of the amenity.

Select All

Click this link to select all of the delete check boxes. Then, you can clear individual check boxes, if necessary.

Deselect All

Click this link to clear all of the delete check boxes. Then, you can select individual check boxes, if necessary.

Delete

Use the Delete button to delete an Amenity By Type. Only those with no transactions have the Delete icon available.

If any transaction has been tied to the Amenity By Type, the delete icon does not appear.

This page appears when you click Add Amenity By Type or select the Amenity Code link from the Amenities By Type grid.

1. From the eSite menu, select Setup—Property—Additional—Amenities by Type.
2. Complete the fields that appear. Use the Fields list for help.
3. Click Save.

3. Select the link in the Amenity Code column for the item you want to edit. A new page appears.
4. Use the Fields list to help you edit the Amenities By Type information.
5. Click Save.

2. Use the Filter buttons on the grid to locate the Amenities By Type item you want to delete, if necessary.
3. Click the Delete button in the Delete Column for the Amenity By Type you want to delete.
