Effect of Property Policies on Pay and Adjust

Property policies are functions that establish how eSite responds for all properties with the same Property Policy Group. Property batch policies determine user access, various methods of calculations and how to apply open credits. Property policy choices for these are made in the Calculations, Exceptions, and Pay & Adjust categories.

When the policy Automatically Select Resident Entry is selected in the Pay & Adjust category, the Residents grid pops up initially to allow quick selection of residents. The default setting is that this policy is turned off.

NOTE that an administrator can change policy settings. Caution should be exercised when altering defaults or established settings, as changes can have far-reaching effects on the way the system handles your batches.
