Often, these provide users with defaults that lighten workload and cause business data to be processed in a consistent manner. Defaults are used as place holders—automatically assigned and displayed by the system and remain until other values are specified.
Processing Menu
Global Begin of Day policies affect the display of the option in the Processing menu. The administrator who sets up your system makes a decision on whether to require Begin of Day/End of Day processing or Lease Charges. The choice is made on the Additional Tab while setting up global policies.
The default is to require Begin of Day/End of Day processing. If the default is used, then the BOD/EOD process must be run daily in order to perform routine processing tasks.
If the default is overridden, Lease Charges Calculation replaces the Begin of Day and End of Day options in the Processing menu.
Lease Charges Calculation
Lease Charges Calculation updates lease information based on renewals and bills the recurring charges associated with the lease.
