To Run Begin of Day

1. From the eSite menu, select Processing—Begin of Day.
2. Click Select Properties. Select the properties for which you want to run Begin of Day, and click Save.
3. In the Run as of date field, type the date you want to run BOD as of (mm/dd/yyyy). Or, click the Calendar icon to select a date.
4. Click Run BOD. The system runs BOD and a progress bar appears.

Note

The BOD progress bar shows the progress of the leases for the current property and the current day. If you are running BOD for multiple properties or days, the bar might reach the end and start over many times.

5. When the process is complete, a series of reports appears. Use Window's print options to view, print or save the report file.

Note

If there are prior period charges, after clicking Run BOD (or Process for Lease Charges), a pop-up window notifies you that this unit will be billed for prior periods. You have two options:

• Click Print and Cancel to cancel out of the changes and print a Prior Period Charges Exception Report showing what would have been charged to the unit. After reviewing the report, if charges were cancelled that you want to charge after all, re-enter the charges and click Save.

  The Prior Period Charges Exceptions report shows Bldg.-Unit No., Name (resident), Status (resident), Income Code, Amount, Pro-In (date), Next Due Date, and Source: Lease Charges or Lease Renewals.

• Or, click Continue Processing  to save the changes.
