WebService Overview

Setting up the Web Service enables you to connect to eFinancials databases. A connection to eFinancials provides access to all Vendors and Vendor Groups that exist in eFinancials.

The connection also automates purchase order generation in eFinancials for reordering inventory in eService. When eFinancials is updated, the information is available immediately in eService.

Note

Setting up the Web Service is required if you use eFinancials.

To have Vendors display on the Employees / Vendors Tab, they must already be set up in eFinancials. After the Web Service runs, all Vendors appear in eService, regardless of the property or Vendor Group associations that may exist in eFinancials.
