Document Types Overview

Document types are global files that define the types of documents allowed to be attached to specific functions within the system. Common document types are .doc for Word document and .pdf for Adobe Acrobat PDF file. The defined types of documents can be attached to properties, buildings, units, or leases.

Setting up document types is optional. Set up individual document types at Setup—Document Types.
