Effect of Property Policies on Guest Cards

Property policies define how eSite responds. For Guest Cards, property policies affect guest card follow–up, how guest card data is counted and calculated for reporting, and whether a guest card is required before an application for lease can be processed.

The following property policies affect guest cards.

Setup—Policies—Property Policies—Application (category)

A guest card is required before an application may be processed — This policy must be selected if you want the system to prevent the entry of an application without a corresponding guest card.

Setup—Policies—Property Policies—Additional Options (category)

Track Leasing Agents — This policy must be established.

Track Marketing Sources — This policy must be established.

Track Lease Types — This policy must be established.

Track Lease Numbers — This policy must be established.

NoteNote

An administrator can modify the default policy settings. Use caution when altering defaults because the results can affect the way the entire system handles your guest cards.
