Guest Cards Overview

A guest card is created to record information for potential residents who have phoned, visited, or requested information via an Internet inquiry for a specific property. The guest card provides a means to record many details, including:

If Global Guest Cards are used, this same information is shared between properties to more effectively manage guest card entry and any lease activity that may follow.

A  global guest card is a guest card that can be used to share prospective renter information with other properties within a select database. Global guest cards provide users a way to group properties in order to share guest information. ClosedExample

Property A, Property B and Property C share the same group and use Global Guest Cards. If Guest 1 visits Property A and does not find a unit that meets their lease criteria, Property A can search unit availability at Property B and C until an appropriate unit is found. This provides all properties within the group a better means of managing prospective lease activity. In addition, report figures include the combined leasing statistics for all properties within the group.

The global policy Allow Global Guest Cards determines if you can use guest cards across properties within the same database. Activating this policy prompts the system to allow entry of global guest cards. When adding a guest card, the label at the top of the Guest Card grid reads "Global Guest Card" when this policy is turned on.
