Guest Card Grid - Global Guest Cards

After you click Add Guest Card from the Guest Cards grid (and only when the global policy Allow global guest cards is selected on the Inter Property, Additional Tab) different fields appear in the header.

Otherwise, click the Add Guest Card button and then enter a new guest card on using the fields on the new page that appears.

NOTE: If the global policy Allow global guest cards is not turned on, then refer to the fields list on the Guest Cards Grid topic.

Header Fields - Global Guest Cards

Last Name

Type the full last name of the person for whom you want to enter a guest card

First Name

Type the full first name of the person for whom you want to enter a guest card (optional).

Search for Original Guest Card

Click to see if a guest card has already been entered for the person whose name you entered. Results appear in the grid,

Add Guest Card

Click to add a new guest card.

Grid Fields - Global Guest Cards

If a search is successful, these fields are populated with the search results.

Guest Card

The existing guest card number. Click the guest card number to view or edit this guest card.

Orig. Property

The original property that entered the existing guest card.

Name

The first and last name of the guest on the existing guest card.

Type

The last type of visit for the guest that was recorded on the guest card. For example, Visited, Phoned, or Internet.

Contact Date/Time

The date and time of the last contact with the guest.

Searching for an Original Guest Card among Global Guest Cards

When searching for an original Guest Card among Global Guest Cards, the user has the ability to enter part of a first or last name and use the asterisk ( * ) character as a wildcard character either before or after part of a name (or both before and after the name).

For example:

Last name = smith* – returns smith, smithe, Smithson

First name = *andy – returns andy, randy

Last name = *col* – returns Colerige, driscoll, Lincoln
