Begin of Day Overview

The Begin of Day (BOD) process prepares eSite for a new processing day by performing the following minimum explicit tasks:

1. Exception Reporting is run and displayed on the Lease Exceptions Report.

2. Leases expiring on a specified date without an approved renewal are converted to month-to-month and displayed on the Lease MTM Report.

3. Lease renewals scheduled to begin on the specified date are completed—which means the lease and renewal recurring charge amounts are entered into the lease file and displayed on the Lease Renewals Report.

4. All lease charges due on this date are billed and displayed on the Lease Charges Report.

5. The last BOD date in the property file is updated with the specified date.

Link one or more of these functions to BOD so that the system automatically executes them as part of the process when it is run each day:

• Transfer to GL
• Calculate SDI
