Make the following menu selections to display this page:
eSite—Processing—Calculate
Management Fees
Use Calculate Management Fees
to determine the fees to collect for a management company based on billings
and/or payments to specified income codes. Once calculated, these fees
may be transferred to your Accounts Payable (A/P) system for payment or
transferred as an entry to your General Ledger (G/L) system.
Fields
Select Properties
Click to select properties from the Select
Properties tab. The report runs for all selected properties.
Preliminary?
Checked—(default)
yes, this is the preliminary calculation used to review charges before
they are assessed. As a result, no fees should be charged.
Unchecked—no,
this is not the preliminary calculation, all charges have been reviewed
for assessment and should be charged to the resident.
End of Month Calculation?
Checked—(default)
this is the month end transfer and should be considered the final transfer
to apply any minimums.
Unchecked—this
is not the month end transfer.
Email Management Fees File?
Checked—(default)
yes, email the BATCH.APS file to the email address specified in the Email To field.
Unchecked—the
management fees file should not be emailed to any designated email address.
Email To
Type the email address of the recipient who should
receive the BATCH.APS file.
Subject for Email
Type a subject line for this email message or
accept the default, Property ID (Property Name).eSite
Management Fees file.
Report Details for Calculate Management Fees
Report
Code
The management fee identification that appears
on lists and in reports. For instance, Rent.
Description
A brief description of the management fee. For
instance, Base Rent.
Billings
The total amount billed to the management fee
within the current accounting period.
Collections
The total amount collected from the management
fee within the current accounting period.
Rate
The percentage rate used to calculate the collected
portion.
Percent Fee
Calculation: Collections X Rate
Minimum Fee
The minimum management fee required.
Prior Percent Fees
Lists any prior percentage fees used to calculate
fees for this code.
Mgmt
Fees
Total amount of management fees collected.
