Report Codes Overview

The Use of Report Codes allows a high level of flexibility for reports and other functions. When you set up and use Report Codes and their associated Values, you can then filter by these Report Codes or Values:

Multiple Report Codes and Values can be set up and used by all properties within the system, and can be assigned to more than one property.

NOTE that you associate Report Codes with properties on the Properties grid.

Examples

You may set up:

A Report Code Property Manager and associate Values such as Sally Smith or Jesse Jones.

A Report Code Region and associate Values such as NW (Northwest) or SW (Southwest).

A Report Code Cities and associate Values such as Tampa and Atlanta.

Report example: When selecting properties for a Delinquency Report, you can select a property manager name, which is set up as a Value, so that the system auto-selects properties that fall under that property manager's name.

Inquiry example: When running All Available Units Inquiry, you can select a region or city name, which are set up as Values, so that the system auto-selects only units in that region or city.

ePortfolio Decision example: Report Codes and Values are used to retrieve and show data for a set of properties that share common information. For more information, refer to the ePortfolio Decision User Guide on your installation CD.
