Search Topics Setup
Make the following selections from the eSite menu to
display this grid:
Setup—Global—Search Topics
Use this grid to manage Search Topics.
Note
in column headers allow you to change what appears in
the grid.
Field Lists
Grid Fields
Add Search Topic button
Click the button to add a new Search Topic.
Code
The Search Topic identification. Click the link
to view or edit the Search Topic's details.
Description
The description of the Search Topic.
Delete
Click the Delete icon
to delete a Search Topic.
Add Search Topic Fields
Note
A red indicator denotes
a required field or selection.
Code
The user-defined code; 10 characters maximum,
spaces allowed. Search Topics are are items of significance that can be
tracked and used as filters. Examples:
Email
REF
Car M&M
Description
The user-defined description of the Report Code;
40 characters maximum. Examples:
Resident
Email Address
Unpaid Referrals
Car Make and Model
Save button
Select the Save button to save changes to the
form.
Procedures
To Add a Search Topic
- From the eSite menu,
select Setup—Global—Search Topics.
- From the Report Codes
Grid, click Add Search Topic.
- Enter Code and Description
information into the fields that appear, tabbing between fields. Use the
Fields list for help.
- Click Save.
To Edit a Search To
- From the eSite menu,
select Setup—Global—Search Topics.
The Search Topic grid appears.
- Click the Code link to open a form where you
can make the desired changes to the Search Topic. Use the Fields
list for help.
- Click Save.
To Delete a Search Topic
- From the eSite menu,
select Setup—Global—Search Topics.
- From the Search Topics
grid, click the Delete buttonfor the Search Topic you want to delete. A confirmation
message appears.
- Click OK.
The Search Topic is permanently deleted from the grid immediately.
