Setup Budget Versions Grid

Make the following menu selections to display this grid:

eFinancials—Setup—GL Setup—Budget Versions or
ePO—Setup—Budget Versions

Use this grid to manage budget versions.

ClosedFields

The following fields appear on the grid:

Selected EntityCompany

Select an EntityCompanyfrom the drop-down list. The budget versions associated with that EntityCompanydisplay in the grid below.

Add Budget Version

Use this button to add a budget version.

Find

This field defaults to Budget Version ID; however, if you click any underlined grid column title, the field label changes to reflect your selection. You can then search for entries based on the field label. For example, if you know the budget version description, click the Description column title and the find field label changes to Find Description.

Enter the first few letters or numbers to search for (or select from a drop-down list if one displays), and then select the Find button. The items that are the nearest match to your entry display in the grid below. Click column titles to sort the list further.

Go Button

Use the Page field and the Go Button to display additional pages when the list of entries in the grid is longer than one page.

Budget Version ID

The budget version identification that appears on lists and in reports. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field. Click an identification link to display the budget version tab.

Description

The description of the budget version identification that appears on lists and in reports. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field.

Year

The year associated with the budget version. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field.

Source

The source application for the budget version. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field. This column only displays if separate budgets are selected during global policies setup.

Documents

One of the following icons appears in this column:

No documents are currently stored for the budget version. Click the icon to upload documents for the budget version.

At least one document is currently stored for the budget version. Rest your mouse pointer on the icon to see the number of documents stored. Click the icon to view, add, or delete documents.

Delete

Use the Delete button to delete a budget version.

ClosedTo Add a Budget Version

  1. From the Selected EntityCompany drop-down list, select an Entitya Company. The budget versions associated with that EntityCompany display in the grid.
  2. Click Add Budget Version. The budget versions tab displays.
  3. Use the Budget Versions Tab field list to complete the tab.
  4. Click Save. The setup tab displays again.

ClosedTo Edit a Budget Version

  1. Select the ID link for the budget version you want to edit. The budget versions tab displays.
  2. Use the Budget Versions Tab field list to edit the tab.
  3. Click Save. The setup tab displays again.

ClosedTo Delete a Budget Version

  1. From the Selected EntityCompany drop-down list, select an EntityCompany. The budget versions associated with that EntityCompany display in the grid.
  2. Click the Delete icon for the budget version you want to delete. The budget versions tab displays.
  3. Click Confirm Delete. The setup tab displays again.
