About Committed Costs

If you use Purchase Orders to update costs, the Cost Summary on Job Cost Inquiry, as well as the reports that print Committed Costs, will include the values entered in Purchase Orders.

The Committed Adjustment field on the Job Estimates Cost tab can be used to manually update Commitments, and is not updated by any other method. Values entered here are reflected on the Cost Summary of Job Cost Inquiry and relevant reports.

Subcontracts are also committed costs, like Purchase Orders.
