eService Introduction

eService is a web-enabled Maintenance/Work Order application for multi-family residential communities. With eService, you have the ability to control the assignment and progression of work orders for one or more properties.

Use this application to schedule, document, and monitor preventive maintenance online. You can also enter and track daily maintenance activities, including status, and generate detailed, online reporting of work order activity. eService is fully integrated with eSite, giving you the ability to improve operational efficiencies.

Certain functions in eService depend on the type of license for the Inventory Module that your company holds. There are two types of licenses for the Inventory module – the free Basic Inventory license and the Full Inventory license. Refer to Effect of Inventory Valuation for details.

NOTE when your organization needs to migrate eService Inventory to the new Inventory module, until the Migrate Data process has been performed, the only menu options available in eService are Migrate Data and About.
