Companies Groups Tab - Simplified Setup

Make the following menu selections to display this tab:

eFinancials—Setup—GL Setup—Companies—Groups Tab or
ePO—Setup—Companies—Groups Tab

Use this tab to set up or edit the list of company and vendor groups to which the company belongs.

Fields

Company

These company groups are established on the Groups Tab in Global Setup.

This company is a member of the following company groups:

Shows a list of company groups to which this company belongs.

(Choose Company Groups)

To add a company group, click anywhere in the field and select a group from the drop-down list that appears. The company group is added to the list.

Delete Button

Click the x next to the company group's name to delete the company group from the list.

To delete a group:

From This company is a member of the following company groups, click the x next to the company group name. The company group is deleted from the list and the company is no longer a member of that company group.

Vendor Groups

This company can use vendors that belong to these vendor groups:

Shows a list of the vendor groups whose member-vendors this company can use.

(Choose Vendor Groups)

To add a vendor group, click anywhere in the field and select a group from the drop-down list that appears. The vendor group is added to the list. This company can use vendors in the vendor group.

Delete Button

Use this button to delete a vendor group and prevent the company from using vendors in the vendor group.

To delete a group:

From This company is a member of the following vendor groups, click the x next to the vendor group name. The vendor group is deleted from the list and the company is prevented from using vendors in the vendor group.

Save

Select this button to save changes.
