Make the following menu selections to display this page:
eFinancials—Reports—Partnership Reports—Investor List
Use this page to print a
list of Investors or to print mailing labels for Investors. Refer to Partnership Accounting Overview for more information.
Report Description
- The report can be run for selected Investors, or the option to Include All Investors can be selected to print the report for all Investors.
- The Summary report type option prints Investor basic information including address.
- The Detail report type option includes the summary information and also prints the Investor/Partnership Link information for each Investor and the percentage for that partnership.
- The Detail report includes all Partnerships for this Investor. If an Investor/Partnership link entry has not been defined (used for Retained Earnings distribution and Contribution Account, Bank Account, and Distribution Expense Code overrides), then the report includes any percentages for that Investor / Partnership.
Example
Investor A has a Link to Partnership A.
Investor A records a transaction for 50% to Partnership A and 25% to Partnership B.
When the Investor list is run in detail, the 50% percentage in Partnership A is reported as well as the 25% percentage in Partnership B.
Note that Linked Investors/Partnerships with no transactions are reported as 0%.
- The Mailing Labels option prints mailing labels for the selected Investors. The system is designed to print in a label area that measures 2" by 4". Any label form with those measurements works. A form that meets these requirements is Avery 5163. NOTE that this is the same format as used for the AP: Vendor Labels Tab menu item.
- If there are multiple Investors set up with the same Vendor with same address, the system only prints one mailing label for the Vendor instead of the same mailing label for each Investor with the same information.
- The Include Notes option is available for Summary and Detail report types. This includes in the report the text of any Notes that were entered for an Investor.
- The report can be run from Series of Reports, however, the Select Partnerships and Select Investors options are not available in a Series.

To Print the Report
To Print the Report
- From the eFinancials
menu, select Reports—Partnership
Reports—Investor
List.
- To select the Investors to include on the report, select Include all Investors or click the Select Investors button and from the Investors pop-up, select the Investors to include. Refer to Select Investors or Partnerships for help.
- At Report type, select a report type: Summary, Detail or Mailing Options.
- At Include Notes, check the box to include any notes that were saved for Investors.
- Select
one of the following report printing options:
- PDF: Print the report in PDF format for use in a PDF viewer,
such as Acrobat.
- Create
Spreadsheet: Prints the report in an Excel spreadsheet.
- Click Print. If you selected Create Spreadsheet,
you are prompted to open or save the report Excel file. Otherwise, the
report opens in PDF format.
- When producing printed labels from the report, it is
necessary to click the Fit to Page check box in the Windows Print dialog
box for labels to print with the proper alignment.
