Batch Detail Inquiry Tab

Make the following menu selections to display this tab:

eFinancials—General Ledger—Inquiry—Batch Inquiry

Use this tab to inquire about general ledger batches.

ClosedFields

The following fields and buttons appear on the tab that displays when you select the menu option.

Header

Current Batch

Select a batch from the drop-down list. The transactions associated with that batch display in the grid below.

Find

Find [Column Title]

This field defaults to Find Date; however, if you click any underlined grid column title, the field label changes to reflect your selection. You can then search for batch details based on the field label. For example, if you know the batch detail description, click the Description column title and the find field label changes to Find Description.

Enter the first few letters or numbers to search for (or select from a drop-down list if one displays), and then select the Find button. The items that are the nearest match to your entry display in the grid below. Click column titles to sort the list further.

Go Button

Use the Page field and the Go Button to display additional pages when the list of entries is longer than one page.  

Grid

Tran Code

The transaction code. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field. Click a transaction code to display transaction details.

Date

The date of the transaction. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field.

ID

The user ID of the user who entered the transaction. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field.

Description

The description associated with the transaction. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field.

Status

The status of the transaction. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field.

Amount

The amount of the transaction. Click this column title to sort the list and change the Find field.

ClosedTo Find Transaction Details

  1. From the Current Batch drop-down list, select a batch. The grid updates.
  2. Use the Find field to locate transactions. This field defaults to Find Date; however, if you click any underlined grid column title, the field label changes to reflect your selection. You can then search for transactions based on the field label. For example, if you know the transaction description, click the Description column title and the find field label changes to Find Description.
  3. Enter the first few letters or numbers to search for (or select from a drop-down list if one displays), and then click Find. The items that are the nearest match to your entry displays in the grid. Click column titles to sort the list further.
  4. If the Go button displays, use it to scroll through pages.
  5. Click the transaction code link to view transaction details. View-only tabs that provide details of the selected transaction display.
