Title Bar

Regardless of where you are in the application, the title bar displays across the top of the page. The bar includes the following:

The Welcome field, user name, and log out link are always visible in the Title bar. Click Logout to log out of the AMSI Evolution Suite.

The date in the Title bar is a global date. When you change the date here, the date is changed throughout the system. To change the date, click the date and use the electronic calendar that opens to select another date a calendar displays.

The name of the currently selected Database is always visible in the title bar. Click the button

to select another database from the drop-down that appears.

A "database" is a set of database connections. For every application for which you have a license, you have the ability to add the database connection to the application and then the application appears on the Menu Bar. Refer to Setup—Databases in the System help for more information.

Permissions override database connections, meaning that regardless of the database connection setup, users only see the applications on the Menu for which they have permissions. Also, because eFinancials and ePO use the same database, both are hidden if there is no eFinancials database connection set up.
