StarBuilder File Layout

Use this format to create a file used to import data into the StarBuilder GL system. This is a fixed length format with a carriage return/line feed between records.

Note

When using the StarBuilder format, the file must contain both a debit and a credit account for each transaction. For this reason, the transfer process transfers all transactions in detail (the system may ignore the defined transfer method).
