Other Income Rec. Report

Make the following menu selections to display this page:

Reports—Accounting Reports—Other Income Rec.

The Other Income Rec. Report reconciles the total other income and potential other income to be collected with the actual amount collected for the month. Additionally, the report shows accrued income and reconciles it to the amount of cash deposited for the month, and includes an optional detail section.

ClosedSelection Criteria

Select Properties

Click to select properties from the Select Properties pop-up. The report runs for all selected properties.

Include Detail for Non-Rent Collected

Accept the unchecked default to exclude the detail for non-rent collected amounts or check to include them.

Current Month Non-Rent

The calculation of this amount is broken down as follows:

Sum of transaction detail amount where the transaction type is 3 (payment), the income code type is Non-Rent, the payment was due and paid in the current accounting period and the transaction header Return flag is blank.

Past Due Non-Rent Collected

The calculation of this amount is broken down as follows:

Sum of transaction detail amount where the transaction type is 3 (payment), the income code type is Non-Rent, the payment was due in some prior accounting period, payment was made in the current accounting period, and the transaction header Return flag is blank.

Future Non-Rent Collected

The calculation of this amount is broken down as follows:

Sum of transaction detail amount where the transaction type is 3 (payment), the income code type is Non-Rent, the payment is due in some future period, payment was made in the current accounting period, and the transaction header Return flag is blank.

Total Non-Rent Collected for Month

This number is calculated as Current Month Non-Rent + Past Due Non-Rent + Future Non-Rent.

– Returned Checks

The calculation of this amount is broken down as follows:

Sum of transaction detail amount where the transaction type is 3 (payment), the income code type is Non-Rent, the payment was made in the current accounting period, and the transaction header Return flag is not blank.

– Non-Rent Refunds

The calculation of this amount is broken down as follows:

Sum of transaction detail amount where the transaction type is 5 (refund), the income code type is Non-Rent, and the payment was made in the current accounting period.

Net Non-Rent Collected for Month

This number is calculated as Total Non-Rent – Returned Checks – Non-Rent Refunds.

+ Forfeited Deposits to Non-Rent

The calculation of this amount is broken down as follows:

Sum of transaction detail amount where the transaction type is 4 (forfeit), the income code type is Non-Rent, and the payment was made in the current accounting period.

Total Non-Rental Income

This number is calculated as Net Non-Rent Collected + Forfeits to Non-Rent.

ClosedTo Display the Other Income Rec. Report

  1. From the eSite menu, select Reports—Accounting Reports—Other Income Rec.
  2. Click Select Properties. Select the properties for which you want to print the report and click Done.
  3. Select the information you want to see on the report (refer to the Selection Criteria for this report).
  4. Select a Report Format option: Acrobat Reader (default), Crystal Viewer, Excel.
  5. Click Display. If you selected the printing option, Excel, you are prompted to open or save the report Excel file. Otherwise, the report opens in your preferred format.
