Lease Renewals Report

Make the following menu selections to display this page:

Reports—Renewal & Forecast—Lease Renewals

This report shows leases scheduled to renew during the report date range and can include a recap by income code section.

Select Properties

Click to select properties from the Select Properties pop-up. The report runs for all selected properties.

From Date *

Printing the report calls for a date range to print from. Enter the first day of the date range using the format mm/dd/yyyy. Or use the Calendar Button to display a date.

Thru Date *

Printing the report calls for a date range to print from. Enter the last day of the date range using the format mm/dd/yyyy. Or use the Calendar Button to display a date.

Print Income Code Recap

Accept the checked default to include a recap section at the end of the report sorted by income code. Or, uncheck to exclude it.

Note

The report details below assume all defaults are selected. The display may vary depending on the criteria you select.

When a resident has multiple charges to the same income code, each charge is listed.

Canceled residents are not included in the report.

Apt

The building + unit number. For instance, 01-A101.

Type

The unit type + sub-type. For instance, 1B/1B Den.

Name

The primary occupant name. For instance, Sally Smith.

(current lease) Begin

The date the current lease begins listed in this format: mm/dd/yyyy.

(current lease) Term

The current lease term listed in months. For instance, a six month lease is listed as 6.

Code

Current lease recurring charges are listed as one line per income code.

Lease Rent

The sum of all recurring charges for the resident that are marked Receivable.

Renewal Rent

The proposed amount of rent to charge if the resident agrees to renew their lease.

Chg

The difference between the lease rent and renewal rent.

% Chg

This percentage is calculated as 100 X (Renewal Charges - Lease Charges) / Lease Charges = % Charge.

Apprvd

If the renewal has been approved then the approval date is listed in this format: mm/dd/yyyy.

New Lease Begin

The date the lease renewal begins listed in this format: mm/dd/yyyy.

New Lease Term

The term of the lease renewal, listed in months. For instance a six month lease is listed as 6.

New Lease End

The date the lease renewal expires listed in this format: mm/dd/yyyy.

Property Total

Column totals are listed.

Grand Total

If more than one property is selected, then grand totals are listed for each property column total.

ClosedTo Display the Lease Renewals Report

  1. From the eSite menu, select Reports—Renewal & Forecast—Lease Renewals.
  2. Click Select Properties. Select the properties for which you want to print the report and click Done.
  3. Select the information you want to see on the report (refer to the Selection Criteria for this report).
  4. Select a Report Format option: Acrobat Reader (default), Crystal Viewer, Excel.
  5. Click Display. If you selected the printing option, Excel, you are prompted to open or save the report Excel file. Otherwise, the report opens in your preferred format.
