Late Notice List

Make the following menu selections to display this page:

Reports—Setup Reports—Late Notice List

The Late Notice List shows a listing of late notice set up information for the selected property or properties; which can be printed in a detailed or summarized format.

ClosedSelection Criteria

Select Properties

Click to select properties from the Select Properties tab. The report runs for all selected properties.

Summary List

Accept the marked default to print a summarized version of the report. Or, click once inside the Detail List radio button to print a detailed version.

Detail List

Accept the unmarked default to print a summarized version of the report. Or, click once inside this radio button to print a detailed version.

Summary

Code

The identifying late notice code. Late Notices are established on the Late Notices Tab. For instance, LAT.

Description

A brief description of the late notice code; pulled from the Late Notices Tab. For instance, Late Schedule.

Last Assessed

A system-maintained date used to show when late charges were last assessed.

Detail

Code

A system-maintained date used to show when late charges were last assessed.

Detail—Minimum

Seq

The system-maintained sequence number assigned to the late notice; pulled from the Late Notices Tab. The system automatically inserts a sequence number increased by one for each new late notice entered for the same late notice code.

Type

The minimum balance for notices is based on this type; ; pulled from the Late Notices Tab. Options include: Balance Due, Current Lease Billings, or Current Due This Month.

Balance

Identifies the minimum accepted balance before a notice is processed, listed in the format 0000.00; ; pulled from the Late Notices Tab.  

Percent

Identifies the dollar amount specified in the Percent Over Amt field on the Late Notices Tab. The system charges a percentage on the balance over this amount when calculating the late fee to bill the resident.

Days

The number of days past the due date before the system considers the resident late; pulled from the Late Notices Tab.

Detail—Late Charge Calcs

Fixed

The dollar amount specified as the Fixed Charge if the late charge calculation is based on a fixed dollar amount; pulled from the Late Notices Tab.

Daily

The dollar amount specified to bill the resident daily, if the late charge calculation is based on a per day charge; pulled from the Late Notices Tab.

Percent

The percentage amount specified to the bill the resident if the late charge calculation is based on a percentage of the balance due; pulled from the Late Notices Tab.

Type

The type of balance to use when calculating the late fee if the late charge calculation is based on a percentage of the balance due; pulled from the Late Notices Tab. Options include: Balance Due, Current Due This Month, Current Month Recurring Charges only.

Code

The income code to assess the late charge to; pulled from the Late Notices Tab.

Detail—Printing

Code

The Print Letter flag that asks the question, Should a late notice letter always be printed regardless of the resident's balance? Options include:

-Always—always print a late notice letter, regardless of the resident's balance.

- Sometimes—print late notice letters for resident with a balance due only.

- Never—never print late notice letters for residents, regardless of their balance.

Letter

Identifies the corresponding letter from the Letters file, if a letter is to be printed; pulled from the Late Notices Tab.

ClosedTo Display the Late Notice List

  1. From the eSite menu, select Reports—Setup Reports—Late Notice List.
  2. Click Select Properties. Select the properties for which you want to print the report and click Done.
  3. Select the information you want to see on the report (refer to the Selection Criteria for this report).
  4. Select a Report Format option: Acrobat Reader (default), Crystal Viewer, Excel.
  5. Click Display. If you selected the printing option, Excel, you are prompted to open or save the report Excel file. Otherwise, the report opens in your preferred format.

 

ClosedEffect of Permissions

User security permissions must be granted in the System module to access this menu item.
