Integrations Overview

The Integrations feature is available in eSite to facilitate utility management and billing. This feature allows an “integrated” utility management and billing service to be automatically notified of a move-out upon completion of the move-out process. Currently, eSite supports integration with the company, AMS Billing Services.

To set up an integration, you select a current property and then select a vendor to integrate with eSite. You enter the information required to set up the integration, which includes a User ID and Password (obtained from the vendor) that allows eSite to integrate with the vendor using a URL that is hard-coded into eSite. The user then validates the information entered and the integrated vendor, for example AMS, responds to a validation request with a success message or an error.

Once the integration is validated and set to Active, upon completion of a move-out, logs are created for residents who move out. The logs indicate if the move-out was successfully communicated to the integration vendor. When the vendor is notified of the move-out, then it handles the utility management and billing for that resident.
