Split Units Tab

Make the following selections from the eSite menu to display this page:

Special—Housekeeping—Split Unit

Use tabs to split one unit into two separate units. The user is prompted for a unit to be split; this unit can be occupied or unoccupied. Then, the user is prompted for the new unit number. The new unit number must not exist, or it must be an inactive unit. In the case of an inactive unit, the new unit will become active.

Any leases on the unit being split remain on that unit; any changes to the lease or to recurring charges must be made through Lease Changes as a separate step. The user is prompted for basic setup information on both units, allowing for adjustment of the square footage and other unit details.

NoteNote:

You must use unit active/inactive dates, a property policy under Additional Options, to use the Split Units option.
